Youth and Family Activities

We want all youth and their families to find a special place in our loving congregation.  Zion has several fellowship and faith-building opportunities for young people and are adding more all the time!  Please contact the church office or check the church calendar for details about these activities.

Movie Nights

Each month we show a movie that is fun for the whole family!  Popcorn and drinks are provided; just bring chairs, pillows and blankets to sit on.  All movies are rated G or PG.  There are also handouts that explain some of the themes seen in the movies for families to discuss together afterwards.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

This July, Zion Lutheran will be hosting VBS with “Operation Restoration!” July 10-14, 2023.  We are looking for volunteers to help shepherd, plan, and teach our amazing kids for our VBS journey.  Please contact our Youth and Family Coordinator at education@zionkent.org or call the church office.

Confirmation Camp

Zion’s Middle School students will get an opportunity to attend Lutherwood in Bellingham WA. The students will attend this overnight camp that immerses them in all aspects of camp with youth from other churches, including mealtimes, outdoor activities, Bible encounter, chapel, campfires, and more.
